ANDERSON-NEGELE … on Lead-free products
Lead-free products are always best. Lead has always been seen as a hazardous element, in all areas, and lead-free products are the way to go.
Anderson-Negele recently, July 2017, announced that they have just been awarded the RoHS Compliance Certificate. RoHS stands for the Restriction of Hazardous Substances, and aims to place bans on the EU market where electronic and electrical equipment contain levels of certain homogeneous materials, namely, lead, mercury, cadmium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB), hexavalent chromium, and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants.
If you are concerned about the equipment you use in your industry, rest assured that Andersen-Negele has made the following products RoHS compliant.
These products, under the Anderson-Negele mandate, now contain less than 0,01% in homogeneous material as listed above, by mass (1000 PPM).
If you are using other hygienic products in your food, beverage, and life sciences industry, where you are not sure of their lead content, please make contact with us, and we will advise you on the best route to going lead-free.
